African football legend and former Ivory Coast captain
Didier Drogba has donated five thousand school kits to the less privileged
children in his home country to help them return to school.
School stationery, bags and mathematical sets were among the
items distributed.
The less privileged also got water bottles and toiletries.
Apart from these Didier Drogba through his foundation has
facilitated many health and educational activities including the construction
of a three million-dollar hospital in 2012.
Drogba who won the African footballer of the year twice in
2006 and 2009 is Ivory Coast’s all time top goal scorer with 65 goals in one
hundred and four appearances.
He retired from international football in august 2014 after
the FIFA world cup in Brazil.
