President Goodluck Jonathan To Commission Dutse Multi-Billion International Airport Tomorrow



 Jigawa state government is set for President Goodluck Jonathan’s state visit to Jigawa tomorrow, Tuesday 21 October.
The Director of Press at the Government House, Dutse, Alhaji Umar Kyari, gave the assurance in an interview yesterday in Dutse.
Kyari said that Jonathan would, during the visit, inaugurate the multi-billion-naira Dutse International Airport and also inspect some on-going projects at the newly established Jigawa State University, Kafin-Hausa.
Reports from the state indicated that President Jonathan is expected to arrive at the multi-billion-naira Dutse International Airport for the official inauguration of the projects.
From there he will proceed to the Government House, Dutse, where he will hold an interactive session with Governor Sule Lamido, politicians, stakeholders and business communities in the state.
According to the programme, the interactive session will last for one hour, with only 100 people as participants.
After the meeting President Jonathan will  fly in a chopper to Kafin-Hausa to inspect the ongoing work at the state owned university and return back to Dutse Airport from where he will  fly back to Abuja.

D.S.P Abdu Dan Jinjiri said more mobile police men would be deployed to the state from Kano and Katsina to provide adequate security during the president’s visit. He further called on the people of the state whom he described as law-abiding citizens to comply with the directives of security personnel in the State.
