The Federal High Court in Jos yesterday adjourned till today

the election of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) Executive Committee led
by Amaju Pinnick.
The court had earlier nullified the election, following
which the NFF filed an appeal for stay of execution of the order and re-stated
a preliminary objection challenging the jurisdiction of the court to entertain
the case.
After listening to counsels of both the plaintiffs and
defendants mainly on the jurisdiction of the court over the case yesterday, the
presiding judge, Justice Ambrose Allagoa fixed today for ruling on the
jurisdiction of the court on the simmering NFF crisis over which the world
football body, FIFA is threatening sanctions against Nigeria.
